This largely unknown, unspoilt area offers some of the best countryside that Britain has to offer.  This rural area relies mainly on farming and tourism and so has not changed much through the years.  The area has a huge number of black and white cottages that have been the same for 400 years, the feeling is one of history and beautiful landscapes a real snapshot of country life.  Regular farmers' markets, antique shops, horse riding, fine dining, something for everyone.
